Danos is extending its capabilities into the Permian Basin by broadening its service footprint and integrating logistics more tightly across energy operations. The key move is its acquisition of AXion Logistics, which strengthens Danos’ ability to deliver end-to-end supply chain support for upstream and onshore customers, including those in West Texas.

What changed

The acquisition of AXion adds third-party logistics and transportation support to Danos’ existing onshore oil and gas services. Danos said the deal builds on a prior partnership and improves its ability to serve customers with more integrated supply chain solutions.

Why the Permian matters

Danos already has a long presence in the Permian and Eagle Ford, where it has offered services since 2012. That gives the company an established base to expand from as it deepens its role in one of the busiest U.S. oil and gas regions.

Bigger picture

This is less about a brand-new market entry and more about strengthening what Danos can do for existing customers in the basin. By combining labor, operations, and logistics, the company is positioning itself as a more complete service provider for energy clients.
